Baton Pass – Week of Oct 4

Research shows that parents are the single most influential factor in a child's faith. 82% of kids whose parents talk about and practice faith at home go on to follow Jesus as adults; compared to 36% whose parents simply bring them to church. Alabaster Kids is one hour a week. You have the rest. We want to help you make the most of it.

Sundays Big Idea
God doesn't want us to argue people into loving Jesus, but to live such good, loving lives that the people around us notice something beautiful and start to wonder why. (Toddlers heard the story of Abram: trusting and following God even without knowing exactly where it would lead.)

Discuss

  • Have you ever noticed someone who was just kind, honest, or good at something, without bragging, and it made you curious about them?

  • What's the difference between trying to make someone listen to you and someone wanting to know more because of how you live?

  • Who are the people you're around most this week and how might the way you do your schoolwork, chores, or friendships point them toward Jesus?

Practice & Pray
Pick one person you'll be around this week and pray together: "Jesus, help me live in a way that points ______ toward you."
